Bears, Cupcakes and Our Aunt, Oh My!

We enjoyed a special treat for the kids' birthdays this year. Aunt Tara made a trip down to spend the day with us. We ate lunch out together at Cheddar's, which is so delicious! Then we headed over to the mall to Build A Bear Workshop. Joshua, Abby Kate, and Jackson all received a gift card for their birthdays to Build A Bear. How special!

There were so many wonderful selections (maybe too many because Joshua and Abby Kate changed their minds about 3 or 4 times each). They each waited patiently in line and then stuffed, then fluffed and then accessorized their bears. All the time, we loved spending the time with Aunt Tara, Micah, and Hope!

 

Afterwards we followed up our trip to the mall with a special cupcake from Gigi's! I've only recently been introduced to these cupcakes. They are huge! And delicious!

What a fun and exciting way to celebrate our 6th and 3rd Birthdays! Thank you Aunt Tara! We love you!
