Welcome to Time Out

Well, after thinking about it for more than a week, I'm finally ready to unveil my new blog title. Thanks to everybody who weighed in with their opinions. (Stacy, I nearly went with "The Sunny Side of Life". The only drawback was that I was constantly going around singing that song. It kinda drove me crazy. Sorry!)

With 3 year old twins, they're constantly going in time out. Oddly enough, sometimes they seem to enjoy going into time out. It makes me wish I could put myself in time out. So...I've decided to go with Time Out as the new name of my blog. This blog serves as my own little dose of time out from the world of raising three kids!

As you can tell, I've also made some slight changes to the color scheme, too. Be sure to let me know what you think!

Whoo-hoo! I'm the first one to leave you a comment on the new and improved blog! It's funny that you chose "Time Out" since those are two words we seem to use over and over on a daily basis around here! Looking forward to more of your perspective now that we have a computer at home. You've got a long way to go in order to equal last year's number of posts!

And thanks...now I have that song stuck in my head, too!

I would never have suggested that title if I even KNEW there was an annoying song!! Sorry!

I think your new title is so cute, and the colors are very calming! I really like it!

Maybe you can sit down and post something every time you send someone to time-out---then you won't need a dinger--they'll be done when you are!! Ha ha!

Better that song than....You are my sunshine. My only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey. You'll never know dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away!

I knew you would come up with a catchy title. Very appropriate. We've found that "sitting in the corner" (just another phrase for time out) is VERY effective discipline for our little 2 year old. Happy 3rd birthday to Abbey Kate and Joshua! Did they/are they having a party? I imagine it would be hard to host one this year.

Oh yeah, great color scheme. Lavender has always been my favorite color. Reading your blog is my little time out from life too.
