Did My Child Just Say That Out Loud?

The other day, I took Joshua and Abby Kate to the play area at the mall. They had just finished getting haircuts and we were looking for a way to beat the heat. After playing for awhile, a mother walked in with her three children. Her boys were old enough to play and her youngest was 3 months old. Her little girl had some crazy looking hair and Abby Kate and Joshua quickly told the mom that her baby had "DIRTY HAIR" and that it was a "MESS!".

Yesterday, Joshua and Abby Kate went to the drug store with me. While waiting in line to check out, Abby Kate noticed that the young man working on the floor had an earring. She quickly told him that, "BOYS DON'T HAVE EARRINGS!".

How embarrassing! Doesn't it make you glad that you have a blog though? You know, a place to write these things down so you can reference them to embarrass them when they are teens?

That is SO funny!! I know you were embarrassed, but you'll never see those people again, so don't worry about it!

Our friends in Searcy have boy twins, and when they were 3 (i think)Cindy was with them in Wal-mart. They turned on an aisle, and there was a huge black man at the other end of the aisle. One of the boys started to open his mouth, and luckily Cindy saw it and quickly covered his mouth. When the man left the aisle, she took her hand down and he said, "Why'd you do that, Mom? I just wanted to know where the chocolate man was going!"

Kids can be brutally honest! I love innocence.

That cracked me up! Can't wait to hear what mine will have to say in another year or two. You have got funny kids, Sunny...I know it's not so funny to you now at times, but you'll be laughing down the road about all of the things they did and said at this age. :)

That is so great. I laughed out loud and May asked me what I was laughing at I told her and she laughed too. That is so funny, I know it wasn't at the time but you will one day. Kent's cousin mom used to tell her son that if he lied he would get big lips. They were at the grocery one day and Jeff looked at his mom and "she must lie a lot". It was a black lady. They still tease him about it.
