The Stockings Were Hung...

I am so excited about our family Christmas stockings. I have been wanting these stockings for several years now. The other day, I found them on sale and I quickly purchased them and took them to a local monogramming store for personalization. Today, the kids and I picked up our stockings and we are all so very excited about our stockings.

Joshua and Abby Kate asked all kinds of questions about how Santa would fill their stockings. They can't wait for Christmas. Abby Kate is not too fond of jolly ol' Santa Claus. Yesterday she told me that she didn't want Santa to come down her chimney. When I asked her how she wanted him to get into our house, she told me that we should leave the front door unlocked and he can come and go that way. Last year on Christmas morning, she was terrified about coming out of her bedroom. She was so afraid that Santa was still in our house!

Seeing as how our family is now complete, I wanted to go ahead and get our family stockings. I look forward to the many special memories with our Christmas stockings.

Love the stockings and the pic you sent on your Christmas card! Those stockings look like the ones I've been eyeing at Pottery Barn but haven't broken down and bought them yet! Very cute!

Yay!!! Family stockings are so special!! I guess it must have been soon after Kayla was born (because I really don't any memories of stockings other than these) that Mom made us our family stockings. We still use those stockings-- and Kayla's in college now! I love how your stockings seem to capture bits of each person's personality! So fun!
