A WalMart "Amen"

This morning, the kids and I made a quick stop off at WalMart. I found myself pushing all 3 kiddos on the buggy through the aisles listening to them singing songs about Jesus. "Whose the King of the jungle? Whose the King of the sea? Whose the King of the universe? And whose the King of me? His name is J-E-S-U-S! Yes! He's the King of me".

They also quoted their favorite (as of right now) passage of scripture to all the shoppers that would listen - "Come and I will make you fishers of men".

We got lots and lots of smiles and we even got an "AMEN"!

I absolutely LOVE hearing my children talk about Jesus to anyone and everyone that they come in contact with.

Too funny...I'm sure that makes their mommy and their preacher daddy proud. :)

So sweet! A good Walmart trip would be quite an accomplish for me!

Here is my answer to your question about my camera lens. I posted it to my blog but just in case you don't check back on those sort of things (I always forget).

Yes Sunny! It's the lens. I would like to tell you that I have some awesome technique but I'm afraid it isn't so. It's an 85mm fixed lens with a 2.8 Fstop. You can get one for about $450 which is expensive for me but totally worth it. Those pictures were taken inside with no flash. I don't think the blinds were even open. It's the perfect inside lens. The downside is that I have a hard time getting the pictures I want outside because it lets in so much light. I'm going to get a hood for it and see if that helps. But I'm hoping to eventually find the perfect outside lens.

Hope ya'll have a great weekend despite the hour we'll lose with the time change. Yea! for longer days though!

How funny! Wouldn't it be great to be a kid again? They haven't been bothered with the thoughts of what others may think of them.

I think it would be awesome if we could all do this everyday.
