Calling All Travelers

Jason and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary this summer. We have been talking a lot about where to go this year, but we haven't really nailed anything down just yet. We have talked about Boston, (going back to) Chicago, Savannah, or another cruise. So, I am asking for suggestions on some places that you have been that you would recommend.

Have you been to Asheville, NC? We went prekids and the Biltmore is very neat to see.
If you are tallying votes though, I say for you to go to Savannah! We're going one day...or that's what I keep telling myself!

Savannah is wonderful! You can also eat at Paula Deen's restaurant. A cruise is the most relaxing vacation though. I would do it again anytime. Come with us to Charleston next month. We're celebrating 10 years one year late.

All of those places sound fantastic! Chris & I went to New York for our 10 yr. anniversary & we had so much fun, we loved it! I'm sure wherever you decided to go you'll have a great time.

If we had the $$$ we would do the Alaska cruise. Princess still has the 2 for 1 deal on inside passiage from Seattle for $399! Southwest had nonstop airfare for $75 last time I checked. But we will keep dreaming while we camp!

Right after grad school, Scott and I went to St.Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. It was amazing. We went the first week of the "off season" and got great deals... ended up being cheaper than Destin, FL would have been.

we went to aruba on our honeymoon & LOVED it. my brother & his girlfriend are going in May and are spending less than it would be for a florida trip & it's all inclusive! i am dying to go with them, but it's grant's birthday week :-(!

Matt and I both love San Diego. Every now and then, we will get a wild hair and talk about retiring there. It is 70 degrees year round and there is a lot of fun stuff to do there. They have a great Wild Animal Park (different from the Zoo) and Sea World is always fun. You could stay in the Hotel del Coronado for a night or two. It is the most beautiful hotel I have ever seen and has the best breakfast buffet I have ever had. Plus it is haunted :o) (It has been on Unsolved Mysteries.)
