Let Your Voices Be Heard

For once, I don't know what to say. So, I am turning it over to you. Let you voices be heard!

1. What was one of your favorite gifts that you received for Christmas?

2. What did you eat on Christmas Day?

3. Are you making any resolutions this year? If so, what is one of yours?

4. What's for dinner?

5. What is your favorite book from this past year that you would recommend?

6. Is your tree still up?

7. How many times did you celebrate Christmas with family and friends?

8. What did you do on New Year's Eve?

9. What is your favorite flavor of Kool-Aid?

All right, I'm game.

1. Favorite Christmas gift? Probably the LOST DVD set you got me. Or my new Crocs (thanks, Nana!)

2. Steak

3. I'm keeping the same resolution I made last year. And I'm also committing to writing more.

4. You tell me. No, I think it's lasagna.

5. N.T. Wright's "Surprised By Hope" or Cormac McCarthy's "The Road". Right now I'm reading Rob Bell's "Jesus Wants to Save Christians" and it's awesome.

6. Nope, thanks to you!

7. When it's all said and done, I think it'll be 4 times. I think.

8. Nothing. It was awesome.

9. Red.

Ok...I'll play :)

** One of my favorite Christmas gifts...my convention trip to Boston from Dec. 27th-31st.

** Eat on Christmas day...turkey, green beans, salad, baked potato

** One of my resolutions is to read the bible everyday.

** What's for dinner? Awful as it sounds left overs then choc. cake for dessert :)

** Chicken soup for the Special Education's Teachers' Soul...it opens my eyes to soo much and I have loved reading the stories.

** Is your tree still up? Took both down today.

** How many times did you celebrate Christmas with family and friends? FOUR this year

** What did you do on New Year's Eve? Was stuck on an airplane coming home.

** What is your favorite flavor of Kool-Aid? Cherry!

Now what are your answers?

1. Either Season 1 of Chuck or my subscription to Real Simple magazine.

2. Roast Pork, mashed potatoes, yummy rolls, green beans, and corn. And a plethora of desserts followed. (My annual favorite Christmas food is part of Christmas Eve's festivities - sausage pinwheels. yum.)

3. Live. Live like any day could be my last- seize it for His Kingdom.

4. I ate a wrap & tomato soup.

5. Hmm... The Shack by William P. Young or Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers (I was very opposed to reading this one for some reason; I guess I thought it would be cheesy. It was amazing.) I am currently reading The Year of Living Biblically by A.J. Jacobs

6. Nope; I took the tree down today.

7. For me, Christmas celebrations began at the beginning of December. I am counting 10 different occasions... wow....

8. New Years Eve... well, I enjoyed a quiet night at the apt... in a tent made of bedsheets and blankets.

9. Grape!

Elyse - Are you studying to be a special education teacher? If so, I had no idea.

Jenna - I've heard great things about Redeeming Love. Every time I go to the library to check it out, it is not there. Maybe I'll catch it sometime soon.

1. That one is very hard. I got so much this Christmas, but my absolute favorite was my Blog in print. I love it! I also loved the gc to Lowe's to purchase our new ceiling fan and my new Vera Bradley wallet. (I know, I'm cheating!)

2. Steak, Caesar Salad, Baked Potato, and Rolls

3. Kind of! I am hoping to exercise some every day. Not eat anything past 7:00 pm. Finish the baby books and documenting the photo albums. And to read more.

4. Lasagna and French Bread

5. The Choice by Nicholas Sparks or Sam's Letters to Jennifer by James Patterson. I had read this one before (Sam's Letters), but reread it on the cruise.

6. No. I took it down this past Tuesday. For some unknown reason, I decided to do it while Jason was at work. He put it all in the attic later on that evening when he got home from work.

7. So far, three. We still have two more celebrations.

8. Jason and I watched the new Batman movie.

9. Strawberry
