When I picked up the kids from school today, I learned that Joshua did not put forth his best effort. As I was buckling him up I started in with the, "You know Joshua, I am very disappointed in the way that you acted today" talk. He looked right up at me in my eyes and said, "Yeah, mom, I know that you are."
I pray that as I discipline and teach my children, that I will do so with a heart of love. My children are so precious and I want to treasure each and every minute. I am thankful for the conversation that I was able to have with my son today. May God bless us as all as we teach and discipline our children in the spirit of love.
